Students culture modernization, theyr electoral practices and perm culture project estimations
The technique of culture modernization level measurement developed by Yu.Vasserman was the base of our survey. The survey checked the hypothesis that effect of culture modernization level on electoral practices and Perm culture project estimations is availability. The data could not refute the hypothesis.
Hadron Production via e+e- Collisions with Initial State Radiation
A novel method of studying e+e- annihilation into hadrons using initial state
radiation at e+e- colliders is described. After brief history of the method,
its theoretical foundations are considered. Numerous experiments in which
exclusive cross sections of e+e- annihilation into hadrons below the
center-of-mass energy of 5 GeV have been measured are presented. Some
applications of the results obtained to fundamental tests of the Standard Model
are listed.Comment: 50 pages, 88 figures, accepted for publication in Rev. Mod. Phy
Pion and Kaon Electromagnetic Form Factors
We study the electromagnetic form factor of the pion and kaons at
low-energies with the use of Chiral Perturbation Theory. The analysis is
performed within the three flavour framework and at next-to-next-to-leading
order. We explain carefully all the relevant consistency checks on the
expressions, present full analytical results for the pion form factor and
describe all the assumptions in the analysis. From the phenomenological point
of view we make use of our expression and the available data to obtain the
charge radius of the pion obtaining , as well
as the low-energy constant . We also obtain
experimental values for 3 combinations of order constants.Comment: 50 page
Rho-Omega Mixing and the Pion Form Factor in the Time-like Region
We determine the magnitude, phase, and -dependence of -
``mixing'' in the pion form factor in the time-like region through fits to
e^+e^- \ra \pi^+ \pi^- data. The associated systematic errors in these
quantities, arising from the functional form used to fit the resonance,
are small. The systematic errors in the mass and width, however, are
larger than previously estimated.Comment: 20 pages, REVTeX, epsfig, 2 ps figures, minor change
Extracting Br(omega->pi^+ pi^-) from the Time-like Pion Form-factor
We extract the G-parity-violating branching ratio Br(omega->pi^+ pi^-) from
the effective rho-omega mixing matrix element Pi_{rho omega}(s), determined
from e^+e^- -> pi^+ pi^- data. The omega->pi^+ pi^- partial width can be
determined either from the time-like pion form factor or through the constraint
that the mixed physical propagator D_{rho omega}^{mu nu}(s) possesses no poles.
The two procedures are inequivalent in practice, and we show why the first is
preferred, to find finally Br(omega->pi^+ pi^-) = 1.9 +/- 0.3%.Comment: 12 pages (published version
Cell-Based Drug Delivery and Use of Nano-and Microcarriers for Cell Functionalization
© 2017 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim. Cell functionalization with recently developed various nano- and microcarriers for therapeutics has significantly expanded the application of cell therapy and targeted drug delivery for the effective treatment of a number of diseases. The aim of this progress report is to review the most recent advances in cell-based drug vehicles designed as biological transporter platforms for the targeted delivery of different drugs. For the design of cell-based drug vehicles, different pathways of cell functionalization, such as covalent and noncovalent surface modifications, internalization of carriers are considered in greater detail together with approaches for cell visualization in vivo. In addition, several animal models for the study of cell-assisted drug delivery are discussed. Finally, possible future developments and applications of cell-assisted drug vehicles toward targeted transport of drugs to a designated location with no or minimal immune response and toxicity are addressed in light of new pathways in the field of nanomedicine
A constraint on antigravity of antimatter from precision spectroscopy of simple atoms
Consideration of antigravity for antiparticles is an attractive target for
various experimental projects. There are a number of theoretical arguments
against it but it is not quite clear what kind of experimental data and
theoretical suggestions are involved. In this paper we present straightforward
arguments against a possibility of antigravity based on a few simple
theoretical suggestions and some experimental data. The data are: astrophysical
data on rotation of the Solar System in respect to the center of our galaxy and
precision spectroscopy data on hydrogen and positronium. The theoretical
suggestions for the case of absence of the gravitational field are: equality of
electron and positron mass and equality of proton and positron charge. We also
assume that QED is correct at the level of accuracy where it is clearly
confirmed experimentally
